simply known as DEERHONEY, Luke Martin is a self taught watercolor / mixed media artist living on the island of Hawai’i. Fascinated with the use of ink and watercolor, he has been familiar with both since his early childhood years. Picking up his first paint brush at five years of age, color and self-expression are the driving force behind his creative works of art. Within this work he captures “fleeting” moments, mean’t to provoke a thought, feeling or memory within his viewer. With the hope a smile will soon follow.
